How to Use the Showroom Visualizer GPT
The Showroom Visualizer GPT allows you to place your sofa into a professional showroom background and optionally change the upholstery swatch. Follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Download the Backgrounds
Go to the “How to Use” section.
Download the showroom background images to your computer.
Save them somewhere easy to access (e.g., Desktop or Downloads folder).
You only need to do this once.
Step 2: Open the GPT
Open the Showroom Visualizer GPT.
You will now upload:
Your sofa image
One showroom background image
Step 3: Upload the Sofa
Click the image upload button.
Select the sofa you want to visualize.
Add it to the chat.
Step 4: Upload the Background
Click upload again.
Select one of the showroom backgrounds you previously downloaded.
Add it to the chat.
The GPT will use this as the environment for the sofa.
Optional: Change the Swatch (Color)
If you would like to change the color or leather:
Type the name or description of the swatch in the prompt.
The GPT will recover the sofa in that specified swatch.
If you want to keep the original color, simply say:
Please use the current sofa and do not change the color. Do not apply a swatch.
Step 5: Generate the Image
Click the arrow (send) button.
The GPT will:
Analyze the sofa
Analyze the background
Combine them into a realistic showroom setting
Apply the swatch if you requested one
Sometimes it may ask follow-up questions.
If it does:
Simply answer the question, or
Tell it to proceed without changing the swatch
Step 6: Save the Final Image
Once the rendered image appears:
Right-click and save it to your computer
Use it for marketing, website uploads, or client presentations
Important Notes
If you previously added swatches, the GPT may ask whether to apply one.
If you do not want a color change, clearly tell it to proceed without using a swatch.
The sofa will remain the same unless you specifically instruct it to change the upholstery.
That’s it.
Upload sofa → Upload background → (Optional swatch) → Generate → Save.
